Post-season tournament (tba)

Post Season

Post-season action begins the weekend immediately following the close of the regular season, with the top eight teams in the League (ranked by won-loss record) invited to take part in a three-round tournament. Unlike the NBA, where teams play a best-of-seven series in their home arenas, USBL tournament teams travel to one, pre-determined city for the single-elimination tournament. Eight teams play the first round, with the four winners of those games advancing to round two. The winners of the second round then face off in the Championship Game.
Current USBL Champions are the Oklahoma Storm (Head Coach: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar), who defeated the Blue Ducks 96-95 in the semi-final round, before beating the Kansas Cagerz 122-109, to take home the 2002 Championship trophy

2001 USBL Champions were the Pennsylvania Valley Dawgs (Head Coach: Darryl Dawkins), who defeated the Dodge City Legend 100-91.

This year's post-season festival will be held June 27th-29th in Dodge City, Kansas.
