March 27, 2006 Mayhem in Melbourne swaps wrestlers Jake “The Snake” to replace” Hacksaw” Jim Duggan Melbourne , Florida – Score one for the World Wrestling Federation….and one for Florida Extreme Wrestling. Upon signing a new contract with the WWE, Hacksaw Jim Duggan had to pull out of FEW's Mayhem in Melbourne wrestling event, to be held here in May. He's now scheduled to wrestle in Wichita Falls, Texas that evening, where he'll take on Trevor Murdoch in a WWE Raw event. To take his place, Florida Extreme Wrestling announced his replacement will be WWE legend, Jake “The Snake” Roberts . “We are thrilled to have Jake join us in our Mayhem in Melbourne event said FEW co-owner, Mike Richman . He is certainly one of the most recognizable figures in the history of the WWE and will make a great addition to our event.” Mayhem in Melbourne is scheduled to take place Saturday, May 13 th at the Clemente Center at Florida Tech. Scheduled to appear that night along with Roberts, are WWE superstars Greg “The Hammer” Valentine, Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake, FEW's Bam-Bam Mancuso, Haku, “Superfly” Jimmy Snuka, Koko B. Ware, King Kong Bundy and Jim “The Anvil” Niedhart.
