Blue Chicks audition set for next month
Tryout for 2006 squad be held Sunday, April 23rd
Melbourne , Florida – One could argue endlessly about which comes first, the chicken or the egg. But next month, one thing's clear…the ducks come before the chicks.
A day after the Brevard Blue Ducks hold their team tryouts on Saturday, area dancers will take to the floor to audition for the 2006 Blue Chicks dance squad.
The tryouts, which will be held at Harbor City Gymnastics, will dictate who the group adds for the 2006 season.
A dance workshop will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Registration is at 1:30 PM . The cost will for the workshop is $25 with advance registration, $30 at the door (sorry, no checks). The fee includes the audition, which will be held immediately after the workshop.
The auditions will be taped and are planned to be shown on TV as part of a Blue Ducks highlight television show expected to begin airing this spring.
Harbor City Gymnastics is located at 2882 Mariah Drive , just off Wickham Road , between Post and Pineda (1.2 miles north of Post, 1 mile south of Pineda) almost directly across the street from the new Home Depot. Look for the “Live Oak” sign.
