Two weeks to go until Harlem Globetrotters visit Brevard!
Lower level reserved seats sold out, but tickets still available for March 8 the event at Clemente Center

With a few weeks to go until the Harlem Globetrotters hit the hardwood in Brevard, ticket sales are brisk but seats still are available for their game in Melbourne, Florida to be held Tuesday, March 8, 2005, when they take the court against the New York Nationals at Florida Tech's Clemente Center at 7:00 P.M. as part of their 2005 “World of Fun” tour. The $45 Reserved Seating Area Tickets have already sold out, however, lower-level general admission tickets ( $25 ) and mezzanine-level tickets ( $20) can still be purchased by calling (321) 751-BLUE or through BrevardBlueDucks.com.
“The response has been overwhelming,” beamed Mike Richman, owner of the Brevard Blue Ducks, who are hosting the Globetrotters during their second visit to Melbourne . “Everyone is looking forward to seeing the Globetrotters here again in Brevard.”
This is the 79 th season for the Harlem Globetrotters. They have played in 117 countries and before 121 million fans worldwide. In 2002, the organization was only the fifth team to be inducted into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. TV NOTE: Local PBS station WMFG Channel 20 will air a compelling one-hour look at the Harlem Globetrotters Wednesday night next week at 11:00 PM called The Team That Changed the World . The well-done special focuses on the early years of the Globetrotters and how they not only dealt with racism but also helped integrate the NBA. It also features great video of early 'Trotters, such as Marcus Haynes, whose ball-handling skills put contemporaries, such as Allen Iverson, to shame .
