Blue Ducks tryouts take place in one week
New Ducks head coach to be present during talent search
Melbourne, Florida Brevard Blue Ducks new head coach
Robert Reid knows basketball talent when he sees it. As a 13-year NBA
veteran and teammate of Hall of Fame player, Hakeem Olajuwan, he should.
Now hell get the chance to test his nose for talent when he oversees
the Blue Ducks open tryouts here in Melbourne next Sunday.

Serious basketball players with professional aspirations
will have a chance to demonstrate their skills in front of Reid
and Blue Ducks player personnel director, Derek Howard during the
one-day camp, to be held on Sunday, March 21st at the Clemente Center
at Florida Tech in Melbourne.
Robert and I are really looking forward to
this, commented Howard. This is a real opportunity for
basketball players who want to play professional ball. Well
be looking hard for talent and the opportunity to bring some top
players into our organization.
The Blue Ducks hold open tryouts each year prior
to the start of their season. The Blue Ducks 2004 season begins
April 16th. The top performers in the open tryout camp will be invited
back to the Blue Ducks pre-season veterans camp on April 1st, where
the team will make its final cuts for its 2004 roster.
