Head Coach - Robert Reid

Robert ws drafted by the Houston Rockets with the 40th overall pick in the 2nd round of the NBA draft and went on to a stellar career in the NBA, playing 13 seasons, from 1977 to 1991. Robert played 11 of those seasons for the Rockets ( 1977 to 1988), where he set many club records for shooting, rebounds, assists and steals. To this day, Robert ranks among an impressive list of names as the Rockets all-time statistical leaders..

Assistant Coach Tony Riopelle

Tony is a resident of Melbourne, FL and a graduate of the University of North Dakota where he earned a B.S.Ed. degree in social studies. He is in his second season as an assistant coach with the Blue Ducks. Last season he was also interim head coach for one game against the Westchester Wildfire. Tony has coached basketball locally for the past six years at Melbourne Central Catholic (1998-2002) and Eau Gallie high schools (2002-present). Over that time span he has also been an assistant with the XBA Rookie All Stars team (2002), which toured the upper Midwest, and the Kansas City Steers of the NABL (2003).

Physical Therapist - DarinPranzoni

Darin Pranzoni PT, ATC, a physical therapist and athletic trainer, coordinates the Wuesthoff Sports Medicine program. Darin graduated from Lock Haven University of Pennsylbania with at Bachelor's degree in Health Science and Athletic Training in 1991. He then went on and graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Masters of Physical therapy in 1993. Darin has been a Brevard County resident since 1993 and has provided physical therapy and athletic training to all levels of athletes.

Physical Therapist - Amado Mendoza

Amado Mendoza, P.T. is a 1992 graduate of the University of Manitoba. Currently employed at Indian River Hospital, Mendoza performs managerial and clinical duties in an Out-patient Physical Therapy setting. He performs all types of PT related caseloads and worker's compensation injuries and develops relationships with local physicians and industries.

Team Physician - Stephen Badolato

A Floridia native, Dr. Badalato recieved his medical degree from the University of South Florida School of Medicine in 1997 and went on to residency training at St. Vincents' medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida. Dr. Badolato is Board Certified and has fellowship training in sports Medicine with a specialization in non-operative musculaskeletal medicine. Formerly one of the team physicians of the Ohio State University Buckeyes, he was also the medical director for the world-renowned IMG Bollettieri Sports Academy in Bradenton, FL.

Team Physician - David Badolato

David W. Badolato, MD, is a native Floridian, born in St. Petersburg and raised in Venice Beach, FL. He attended Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota, followed by college at the University of Central Florida. He then attended four years of medical school at the University of South Florida. followed by three years of family practice, residency at St. Vincent's Hospital in Jacksonville. Dr. Badolato is a Board Ceritified Family Practitioner, practicing in the Suntree area of Melbourne. Badalato Family Health at Suntree and Premier Urgent Care at Suntree are owned and operated by David, his wife Donna and twin brother Stephen, all practicing MD's.

Team Physician - Shane Hernesman

Shane C. Hernesman, M.D. graduated from the Medical Collige of Wisconsin, completed his residency at the Lacross-Mayo Family Practice Residency Program and completed his fellowship at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Hernesman specializes in Family Practice and Sports Medicine.

Head Athletic Trainer - Enrique Luna

Enrique Luna, Head athletic trainer, joined Wuesthoff Health Systems in 2002, cared for athletes from junior college level to semi-pro basketball. Enrique assisted "The Brevard Blue Ducks" the previous year with injury prevention and management.

Mr. Luna graduated from San Diego State Universitiy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He is board-certified and a state licensed athletic trainer.

USBL Head Coaches

The USBL's head coaches come from the ranks of basketball's finest players and coaches, including 14-year NBA star Darryl "Chocolate Thunder" Dawkins of the Pennsylvania Valley Dawgs and Robert Reid of the Texas Rim Rockers. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar led the Oklahoma Storm to the USBL title last season.
Coach Dawkins enters his fifth season with the Valley Dawgs, guiding one of the League's most successful franchises to the 2001 USBL Championship, while Reid begins his first season at the helm of the Rim Rockers.
